That's just part of the process that goes toward creating the perfect piece!

My little atelier is a three-window corner room tucked inside the second story of our town's recently restored train depot, only a brisk walk away from my husband's and my (almost) 120-year-old house. (He and I are working to restore/remodel that, too!) Of course, you can only see a tiny part of the depot in this picture, but I feel that the essence of where I work has been captured: Whenever my eyes feel tired from all the close-work, I take a break and look out onto the roofs of those train cars.

Hi!
Call me Wendy.
I have loved creating interesting and offbeat art for as long as I can remember. From cringeworthy preteen illustrated jokes (What was I even trying to show in those??) to more grownup and beautiful requests designed by my friends and family, I have always had something artsy going on.
It took me until shortly before my thirtieth birthday to finally settle on my favorite mediums: pen and ink, canvas and thread.
Today, I am thrilled to be able to present my work to the public for your particular enjoyment.
I hope you find something you like!
(Okay, some of the preteen jokes were funny.)
